March 27, 2020
To Resident Family Members, Friends and Loved Ones,
Effective Immediately, The RiverMead Community is closed to friends, family members and visitors. We believe this is in the best interest of all of our residents, and the next step in our efforts to keep COVID 19 out of RiverMead and our residents safe and healthy. This will be in place until at least May 4, 2020.
Recognizing that this is certainly a hardship for family, we invite you to leave care packages, groceries and necessities at the front desk of each campus for your loved one. No homemade items please. The RiverMead staff will deliver your package directly to the resident it was intended for.
RiverMead has established opportunities for residents to order groceries and other items from local businesses that will deliver directly to RiverMead.
We thank you for your support and understanding as we all work through this situation together.

“The health and wellness of our residents and the care-giving teams who support them is our number one priority,” said Bill James, CEO. “We are staying abreast of the latest information from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and we are working with state and local public health and emergency preparedness officials to strengthen our preparation for a possible outbreak of Coronavirus. These precautions are vital to helping us avoid and minimize the possible spread of this virus.” Detailed and specific plans are already in place for a wide range of emergencies and are being updated and evaluated as new information becomes available. Additionally, we are working closely with other health care providers in our community to help ensure the health and safety of all.
As we navigate this challenge, we remain focused on providing exceptional care and services for our residents.
